Who are we?
The Alchemy Leadership Team designs and facilitates impactful leadership programmes for people who are serious about significantly growing their awareness and capabilities as leaders and change practitioners. Some of us are full-time with Alchemy and some of us work on an associate basis.
What makes us distinctive as a team is the combination of our professional leadership experiences, strategic level organisational perspectives, and our own commitment to personal development.
We have a passion for supporting the growth in awareness and consciousness of others.
Antony Shave
Antony's focus is programme design and leadership team development. He has 7 years experience as a consultant and facilitator with McKinsey & Company and 5 years leadership experience as a Royal Marines officer. He has worked with over 40 client organisations globally, and in doing so, facilitated over 125 leadership workshops for over 3000 people. Antony lives with his partner in Brighton & Hove, England.
Helen Jane Nelson
Helen Jane's focus is senior executive leadership coaching and whole systems design and change. She has worked with CEOs in this capacity for 8 years, assisting them to craft and implement successful and sustainable organisation-wide culture change strategies. Prior to this, she worked in a variety of senior leadership positions with Diageo PLC, Mars Confectionary Inc., and Adidas (Europe) Ltd. Helen-Jane lives with her partner in London, England.
Noah Maltz
Noah's focus is senior executive leadership coaching and organisation-wide performance transformation. He has 7 years experience at McKinsey & Company where he worked with over 35 client organisations globally. Prior to this, he worked in financial services in New York. Noah lives with his partner in Cape Town.
David Lipshitz
David's focus is senior leadership team development and coaching. He has 5 years experience as a leadership advisor and facilitator with McKinsey & Company, and a further 5 years experience in management consulting. In these capacities, he has worked with over 40 different client organisations globally and has facilitated over 130 leadership workshops for management teams. In parallel to this David has his own private practice as a psychologist and psychotherapist. David lives with his family in Johannesburg and Cape Town.
Andrea Borman
Andrea's focus is senior executive leadership and team coaching. She has 14 years experience in this field serving over 50 organisations as a consultant and facilitator with Gemini Consulting, McKinsey & Company, and through her own practice. Additionally she specialises in developing leaders as coaches themselves. Andrea has recently moved with her family from her home country of South Africa to Washington DC.
Chris Monk
Chris' focus is organisational culture diagnostics, values systems development, and organisational transformation design and implementation. In this capacity he has worked with 25 client organisations, through Ashridge Management School and his own practice. This is grounded upon 16 years leadership experience as a Royal Navy officer. He lives with his family in Devon, England
Susan McClelland
Susan's focus is senior executive leadership coaching. She has 11 years experience in this field specialising in individual personal development work. This is grounded upon 23 years experience as a manager in the chemical and pharmaceuticals sector. Additionally, Susan works as a conflict resolution specialist at an interpersonal, team, and organisational level. She lives with her partner in Vermont, USA.
